Hi *Subscriber*
It's over five months since our last issue of Ayzine. A new record! Updates will become a little more often from now on.
First up is Nodus Awards. The site now has over 260 members with some fantastic sites! We're also pleased to report that over 520 public evaluations have been submitted since the service went live earlier this year. Despite this, we're still not completely happy with the format and have been asking ourselves the question: What would offer webmasters really valuable feedback without being too labour intensive?
One of the possibilities is to have a larger panel of judges. These new judges would have their own "Judges Profile" and be able to define their own evaluation criteria. They could also pick and choose which sites they wish to evaluate. The benefit to the webmaster is receiving a variety of feedback from judges who have a preference for aesthetics, usability or content (or a mixture of the three). The benefit to the judge is an increase in credibility and significant exposure to their own personal/business website.
We'd love to hear your opinion on this concept so please reply to this email with any suggestions or comments. If you'd like to be considered as a judge (if we go ahead), please also reply.
TraceBay remains in Public Beta mode whilst we evaluate the service offering, user experience and statistical data. We're currently in the middle of a significant update which is due to complete fairly soon but the software is expected to stay in beta until September.
And now for a bit of fun... Do you fancy something for free? Well; we're offering one lucky person a professional logo for their personal website or business. To enter, all you have to do is join our Aylis Facebook group, invite your friends to join, and then describe the type of logo you'd like created. Even if you don't need a logo, we'd still love it if you joined the group. We have over 600 members at present.

And finally... We want to chat with you! We want to learn what you like (and don't) about our websites and just generally get to know our users better. One of the ways we'll do this is with Twitter (yes, we have an account). Connect with us at http://twitter.com/aylis
We hope you enjoyed this email, thanks for reading.
Best Regards
The Aylis Team
